Disability Hub MN
In August 2017, the State of Minnesota launched the Disability Hub MN, a free statewide resource network designed to help persons with disabilities learn more about the community resources and government programs that may be available to them. This website provides basic information about eligibility criteria for Medical Assistance, Section 8 vouchers, and Housing Support Services, along with assistance in applying for these programs.

The purpose of Disability Hub MN is to provide a free resource to assist people in gathering information. However, the Hub workers cannot provide legal advice or undertake legal planning to achieve eligibility for government benefits. While it’s good to see our state continuing to evolve resources to assist our aging and disability population, this does not replace the need to get independent advice on how best to build a plan for your unique situation. Our firm understands how these programs work together and can customize a plan based on each individual’s unique needs through the use of legal tools not available to government employees. In addition, LRHP attorneys work for YOU (not the State) as your advocate.
